Vitamins, minerals, shape, taste and colour of the food remain intact when using this form of preparation. Vegetables, potatoes, dumplings, fish, meat and even fruit are equally suitable for cooking in all dampers.Steam cooking is easy and healthy.Gentle cooking with steam.When steaming aroma, vitamins and minerals are not flushed out like cooking in water. The need to add fat and salt as a flavour enhancer can be virtually eliminated. The food is placed in the top steamer of the All-damper, which is set onto the pot filled about 2/3s with water. The heated water creates steam in which the food cooks - without having to be stirred. The resulting steam water contains flavourings and nutrients and can really be used to flavour sauces. Foods receive added flavour when broth or wine, for example, is added to the water.
